Your iPhone becomes a physical video editing controller.

Scrub wheel with inertia and haptics, JKL transport, markers, cut, custom macros — drives DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro from your iPhone or iPad, over Wi-Fi.

Not live on the App Store yet — this page will update at launch.

JOG
The problem

Editing with a mouse and trackpad is slow — and dedicated hardware is expensive

A real editing controller (scrub wheel, color wheels) ranges from $59 for a ShuttleXpress to $795 for a DaVinci Micro Color Panel. EditDeck does the same thing with the device already in your pocket.

Wheel with inertia

Smooth scrubbing, haptic feedback per detent, inertia on release — like a real physical wheel, not a touch slider.

Customizable canvas

Move, resize and add buttons and wheels iOS-homescreen style — organize your workspace however you want.

Adapts to your habits

Already remapped your keys in Resolve, Premiere or Final Cut? EditDeck adjusts to your setup — not the other way around.

It knows where you are

Switch editing software, EditDeck follows automatically — zero setup to redo every time. Or force whichever mode you want, manually.

Multi-wheel

Jog, cut navigation, zoom, nudge — each wheel has its own role, sensitivity and step, set independently.

Multiple devices

Connect iPhone and iPad at the same time; only one drives the keyboard at a time, switch with a tap.

How it works

Two apps, one local Wi-Fi connection

No account, no cloud: your iPhone and Mac find each other directly on your local network.

1

Install the EditDeck companion on your Mac

A small, unobtrusive app that lives in the menu bar. One permission to grant on first launch (we walk you through it, step by step).

2

Open EditDeck on your iPhone

It finds your Mac automatically over Wi-Fi — no network setup needed.

3

Edit

Every gesture on your iPhone triggers the matching action in Resolve, Premiere or Final Cut — instantly, like a real physical control panel.

Pricing

One-time purchases, no subscription

One free software of your choice, forever. Unlock the others à la carte.

Download

The Mac app

The iPhone app downloads from the App Store, like any other app. The Mac needs a small separate app: it's the bridge between your iPhone and your editing software, so every gesture triggers the right action, in real time.
